We are now looking for a Process Engineer for the Infra Support group at Forsmark Kraftgrupp.
The Infra unit is primarily responsible for the management of system-bound low and medium-level radioactive waste (liquid waste) and non-system-bound low and medium-level radioactive waste (solid waste), nuclear waste, system-bound conventional waste (sanitary wastewater), decontamination, and operations in the outer area.
Within the unit, there is operational management responsibility for the Outer Area. The operational management is responsible for the operational and safety oversight of the facility and the operations within its own management area.
The unit is organizationally divided into four groups: Solid Waste, Water Management, External Facilities, and Infra Support. The Infra Support group is a new group that is in an exciting phase of development with many projects and investigations within the organization. We work with strategic goals towards the outer area at Forsmark, support with arising faults/investigations, and ensure that the facilities meet applicable requirements and comply with new regulations from authorities.
As an employee with us, you will work alongside experienced colleagues with broad expertise. We help and support each other to achieve common goals and maintain a good atmosphere in the group.
Your Responsibilities
As an engineer in waste management, you will work to develop and implement common working methods that meet both internal and external requirements. If necessary, you will develop instructions and processes to ensure effective and safe waste management.
Your responsibilities include following up and initiating the development of routines and coordinating waste management within Forsmark.

- Develop and update documentation, instructions, and annual plans
- Ensure that waste management complies with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines
- Participate in and drive projects and activities related to waste management

We prefer that you have

- Experience working in industry with regulatory requirements
- Experience from a regulatory environment or nuclear technology operations
- Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing, as well as basic knowledge of English
We are looking for a structured and responsible person who takes initiative and drives work forward with engagement and curiosity. Since the role involves various types of tasks and the group is new, you need to be able to adapt your approach and actions.
We believe that you thrive best working collaboratively and have an easy time cooperating, and you are willing to share your knowledge to help the group develop.
We encourage candidates who want to develop in the role and who, through feedback and reflection, want to grow as both employees and individuals through insights about personal strengths and areas for development.
